Thanks to its 16,000 square metres of green parkland and its two outdoor pools, the Lido Azzurro swimming pool is a popular destination for those who, during the summer, want to dedicate themselves to leisure, sun and fun, without renouncing their own and their family's peace and quiet.
Courses
Lido Azzurro collaborates with various associations for the management of various courses. All NPV members who hold courses at the Lido Azzurro can take advantage of the services reserved for Lido Azzurro clients in the times and ways regulated by Lido Azzurro s.r.l. In order to enrol for courses it is necessary to become a member of NP Varedo by filling in a special form and paying a membership fee. In this way you will become a member of NPV and be able to take part in the many initiatives that the association organises and carries out throughout the year. The swimming and fitness courses have been entrusted to the Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica NP Varedo, which has been working in the field of teaching for several years and is a guarantee of professionalism and seriousness for everything related to swimming school teaching. Thanks to its know-how and the experience gained over dozens of years, NPV is able to offer a valid method and training model for every type of swimming level and for all scheduled fitness courses.
Rental of water spaces for diving and apnea
Scuba diving activities are those activities that allow man to stay in a submerged environment, predominantly aquatic, both freshwater and saltwater, and therefore in a predominantly lacunar, fluvial and marine environment. The "Lido Azzurro" swimming pool in Varedo is one of the best-known in Lombardy, with its 16x10x4 metre hole. It has always been a "den" for divers and, thanks to its size, is an excellent gym for both beginners and advanced divers. It is possible to practise this activity with or without equipment and, depending on the case, it is specifically called apnoea diving or diving with ARA or ARO, in practice autonomous breathing systems or bound to air, oxygen or breathing mixtures, systems that therefore allow diving for long periods of time.
